Seventh heaven on the isle of arran

Scotland’s New Hotel of the Year is offering tees as well as beds and meals this Summer and Autumn.

Golfers can stay at the Douglas Hotel, situated beside the Isle of Arran’s ferry terminal at Brodick harbour, and have a choice of seven courses on the island, often described as “Scotland in miniature.”

Dinner, bed and breakfast rates start at £310 for a double room for two nights (based on two sharing a twin or double deluxe room), plus a discounted rate of £99 for a pass allowing play on all seven courses if bookings are made through the hotel.

The Douglas, opened in May 2011 after a £7m renovation, was voted New Hotel of the Year in the 2012 Scottish Hotel Awards.  For reservations or more information call 01770 302968, email stay@thedouglashotel.co.uk or see www.thedouglashotel.co.uk.
