Carnegie Club At Skibo Re-Opens Its Doors

For the first time since becoming private in 2007, the Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle has announced that limited public tee times will be available on special request to non-residents; creating the perfect Christmas gift for avid golfers.

With the festive season just around the corner, the timing couldn’t be better for North East Scottish course to introduce non-resident access to its’ exclusive golf club, which includes its famous 18-hole championship Carnegie Links course.

Tee times can now be reserved in advance for play from April 2013 when two four-balls will be made available for non-residents from Monday – Friday, until  December 2013.

All that is needed to make a reservation is a letter of introduction from the players’ home course, proof of their handicap and a request date, but gift givers should hurry, these limited slots are experiencing high demand!

Peter Crome, Managing Director of The Carnegie Club stated: “I am delighted to be able to open our world class golf course to the public and allow non-residents the exclusive chance to sample what is surely one of the best golf experiences on the planet.

“We have introduced limited public tee times from April 2013,  Monday to Friday to create the perfect gift for golfers whilst also enabling those perhaps thinking about joining the Club a chance to see what it’s really about before making the step of becoming a member.

“Our golf course is one of the most talked about amongst golfers from every country and I am sure there will be great interest in this opportunity internationally”.
