*The Wychwood GC – This outstanding modern course opened in 1992 and is maturing into one of the county’s top tracks. It is plotted within 170 acres of scenic Cotswold countryside and is in excellent condition whatever time of year.
It boasts USGA-spec greens but it is no stroll in the park. Indeed the 6,844 yards layout guarantees a stern challenge for golfers of all playing abilities with several new bunkers and tees recently being added.
The re-designed 9th and 10th holes have blended in nicely and with water featuring on 11 holes it’s important you’ve got a good supply of balls available.
*Carswell CC – another excellent modern venue with good all-round facilities.
*Brailes GC – challenging, mature par-71 parkland well worth checking out.
*The Springs Hotel & GC – fine stay and play run and owned by the Leaderboard Group.
*Badgemore Park GC – classy parkland course in Henley-on-Thames.
