Gleneagles celebrates 90th birthday today

Legendary Scotland resort Gleneagles is celebrating its 90th anniversary today.

And staff at the luxury Perthshire hotel marked the occasion by channelling the glamour of the 1920s (pictured), when Gleneagles first opened its doors to high society on June 6th, 1924.

It’s a huge year for the resort which of course stages the Ryder Cup which will be contested by Europe and USA’s finest over the PGA Centenary course from September 26-28.
