The Lady Taverners focuses on fundraising for specially adapted minibuses and sport, and recreation facilities for young people with special needs.

From 8.00am competitors will be welcomed with tea, coffee and delicious bacon rolls, before the prompt shotgun start at 9.30am. The competition is open to teams of four, with prizes being presented for the winning team and longest drive.

After the charity golf competition, guests will be treated to a delicious three-course lunch in Luton Hoo’s award-winning restaurant, Adam’s Brasserie, which includes a glass of wine and coffee. Non-golfers are also welcome to attend.

General Manager at Luton Hoo Hotel, Matthew Long, commented: “Lady Taverners is such an incredible charity and offers amazing opportunities to those who need it the most. This will be the fourth year that the charity golf day has been held at Luton Hoo and we are extremely honoured to be able to help. We are sure that everyone involved will really get into the spirit of things and raise some money for a very worthy cause.”

The cost of entering is £320 per team, or £80 for individuals. The three-course lunch for non-golfers costs £29.50 per person.
