Great value winter packages at top Sicily resort


Fair weather golfers eager to escape the clutches of the cold this winter are being invited to head to Sicily’s luxury Verdura Resort and enjoy five-star treatment on a grand scale over the coming months – with golf breaks starting from €105 (approx £78) per person per night.

Golf lovers seeking a longer stay can take advantage of outstanding value by booking a seven-night bed and breakfast stay from €731 per person (approx £540) including five rounds of golf and the same leisure privileges. All prices are based on two people sharing a twin or double standard room.

Complementing its golf courses are extensive practice facilities including a double-ended driving range and excellent golf academy, while players can also take advantage of the latest state-of-the-art TaylorMade equipment when they hire clubs at the resort after a significant recent upgrade of its rental service. Prices start from €55 (approx £40) for a two-round package.

Located on Sicily’s southern coast between Agrigento and the fishing city of Sciacca, an 80-minute drive from Trapani and Palermo airports, the multi award-winning resort features 203 rooms and suites – all with a sea view.
