new odyssey marxman x-act

Published:

It has the loft of a seven iron and yet it is designed by one of the world’s best putter makers to help you hole more putts. So what the hell are Odyssey playing at?

Apparantly the Odyssey Marxman X-Act  is a ‘putter wedge’ that has been designed to help eliminate the chipping yips by supplying the poor chipper with a weapon to defeat their demons.

With a 37 degree face the Odyssey Marxman X-Act works by lifting the golf ball up in the air on impact, while keeping backspin to a minimum to help the ball roll out like a normal putt. This has obvious benefits for those shots off the fringe and as it’s a short putter it makes lining up that much easier than using an iron or utility club.

Expect to see it in the shops later this year.
