golfworks KE4 V irons

US-based golf club makers Golfworks are to launch the new Golfworks KE4 V irons.

Following in the footsteps of the incredibly successful original Golfworks KE4 and Golfworks KE4 Tour irons, the KE4 V weight adjustable irons add the element of “Vibration control” to the KE4 line of irons. “By adding the polymer insert in the cavity, we improved the feel forgiveness of the design” stated Pete Calloway, manager of product development and the designer of the KE4 V irons.

The KE4 V irons are manufactured from stainless that is heat treated to for optimum performance, feel and adjustability. The face profile is similar to the KE4 Tour iron, but the similarity really ends there.

The heel / toe undercut cavity design maximizes perimeter weighting for the design profile, providing optimum dimensional stability and control through the impact zone. The 1.00″ wide sole is wider than the previous designs and provides added weight low and deep in the head, lowering the actual vertical center of gravity, making it extremely easy to launch the ball to the optimum trajectory for each iron.

The 3˚ of bounce in the 4 through the 9 iron (4˚ in the PW and GW), with a beveled leading edge and front to back sole camber make the Golfworks KE4 V design very turf friendly. The progressive offset in the 4 iron through 7 iron add to the forgiveness, and the lesser, more consistent offset in the short irons (8 through GW) provide a great look and promote consistency in the shorter approach shots.
