Stewart Golf F1 Lithium trolley

Stewart Golf have never made bad electric trolleys, but their latest innovation has pushed the boundaries even further.

The new F1 Lithium trolley is unveiled today and promises to put even the highly successful X3R machine in the shade.

While some manufacturers make the odd tweak here and there to their trolleys, Stewart Golf have made some big changes to the beast that won silver in the TG Trolley Test last year.

If there was any criticism of the X3R, it would have been that it was a big old boy. You needed a sizeable storage space, and Evander Holyfield biceps to get the thing in and out of the car. But these are two of the areas where Stewart have kicked on.

The new F1 model is an incredible 11kg, and folds away into a third of the X3R. And while the X3R battery weighed in at around 12kg, while the new lithium power unit weighs just 2kg.

So, in short, it’s a lighter, sleeker, better version of one of the best electric trolleys we’ve ever tested. It carries a hefty price tag of £2,500 but if money is no object, this is the trolley for you.
