NEW LUXURY LINED PERFORMANCE SWEATERS FROM GLENMUIR

Glenmuir has thrown the covers off its autumn/winter 2008 golf clothing range this week, led by the Glenmuir Birkdale and Glenmuir Carnbee ranges.

The men’s Birkdale and Carnbee and ladies’ Alice sweaters are manufactured from a machine washable, luxury merino and acrylic wool blend, which in itself offers superb warmth and protection.

By adding a hard-wearing, breathable and quick-drying water, oil and soil repellent Nano-Technology Bionic Finish®  and introducing a windproof stretch lining with Storm Bloc features, the end result is an outstanding product that feels and plays like a sweater – but acts like a wind shirt.

All three sweaters feature the stretchable lining to ensure the best possible swing flexibility as well as double cuffs and welt for comfort.

The zip-neck Birkdale is available in chilli pepper, graphite and navy colourways for a suggested retail price of £89.50, with the crewneck Carnbee in black, kiwi and latte at a suggested retail price of £73.50.

Both sweaters feature the renowned Glenmuir 1891 embroidery on the right sleeve and come in sizes S-XXL.

The zip-neck Alice comes in chilli pepper, winter white and latte – with the Glenmuir logo on a woven tab at the left side seam – in sizes S-XL for a suggested retail price of £84.

Andy Bough, Glenmuir Marketing Director, said: “We are confident our brand new lined sweaters will prove to be extremely popular with golfers.

“There are days – particularly in late Autumn and early Spring – when golfers want extra protection from damp, drizzle and cold winds without having to add an extra layer of clothing. And this is where our luxury lined sweaters really come into their own.”
