Cleveland Golf have thrown the covers off their 2009 iron range today – the Cleveland CG7 Tour and CG7 Irons – and they reckon they’re the best irons they’ve ever made.
The Cleveland CG7 iron range will consist of two models when they hit the stores this Februray – the Cleveland CG7 for improving players and the Cleveland CG7 Tour for the consistent player.
The main focus of the technology is the cavity insert, which has been further improved from last year’s model and aids damping to improve feedback from the golfer (see image).
The clubface also features Cleveland’s fantastic zip groove tech, which creates loads more spin for the average golfer and helps us get the ball up in the air and stop it quickly on the greens.
Our golf equipment test team will be the first to put the new Cleveland CG7 golf irons through their paces and you will be able to see our exclusive first hit video review next week, so watch this space…
