FootJoy is to introduce an all new top end golf shoe in 2008 – the FootJoy DryJoys PODS.
FootJoy DryJoys have been the pioneer and leader in golf shoe waterproof protection since 1989 and the market leading shoe brand looks to be onto a winner with its latest offering.
The new outsole incorporates seven individual Stability PODS with enhanced OptiFlex zones resulting in breakthrough ‘Flextability’ (stability achieved through maximum flexability). Footjoy say these versatile flex points allow more of the golf shoe to maintain contact with the ground throughout the swing giving better in stability and control allowing golfers to perform at their best whilst experiencing unrivalled comfort.
“The DryJoys franchise has been a huge seller for FootJoy throughout the years and a benchmark in quality and performance for golf shoes everywhere. With the introduction of the revolutionary PODS technology we are confident that FootJoy has once again raised the bar in the golf shoe market” commented Jeremy Baldwin, Director of Product Management at FootJoy.
The new DryJoys PODS will build on the success that the DryJoys range has achieved over the years and will cater for both traditional and contemporary tastes with a range of unique styles and colours not seen before in the DryJoys franchise.
The new DryJoys are expected to retail at £110 and is set to hit the shelves in January.
