Benross has set high standards in the iron category with models such as the two time Today’s Golfer Gold Award Winner Benross X Combo leading the way.
For 2008 two new models are ready to reinforce this position, the Benross VELOCT Combo irons and the Benross Tri-Mass irons.
The Benross VELOCT Combo
The new Benross VELOCT Combo irons have taken all that was good about the Benross VX Combo and simply added more to deliver a simply outstanding, forgiving iron. Once again set configurations provide the perfect combination flexibility by providing a number of set options combining with the new Benross VELOCT Escape utility series.
The club head design incorporates the unique Trimass weight positioning system and an undercut cavity construction with thin face technology. An extreme deep centre of gravity helps get the golf ball airborne and the Anti-shock Cartridge System (ACS) consisting of a polyurethane insert which provides more forgiveness from off centre hits.
Key improvements have been made to the bounce angles of the golf club and the Glass Bead textured finish and colour coordinated badges

The Benross Tri-Mass
The Benross Tri-Mass is built on the solid foundation established with the 2007 Benross VX5 iron. Key enhancements have been to adopt a more heel and toe design with more weight being located in the heel and toe areas to minimise distance loss from off centre hits.
This featured packed iron is constructed from 431 stainless steel and incorporates the unique Trimass weight positioning system. An undercut forgiveness cavity construction, with thin face technology and a deep centre of gravity, all combine to deliver an exceptionally long, straight and consistent iron shots.
Progressive weight distribution is evident throughout the set which combines with a progressive top line thickness to make longer and mid irons easier to hit. The refined power pad delivers additional power where required. Component specification is consistent with the Benross VELOCT Combo with a choice of either the graphite Pro-Launch Platinum by Grafalloy or an exclusive True Temper Dynamic LITE steel shaft in regular, stiff and ladies flex options.
