Nike Victory Red Forged TW Blades

Nike Golf’s 2009 iron for the better player is the stunning Nike Victory Red Forged TW Blade, developed with the help of the main man and Nike Golf ambassador, Tiger Woods.

The Nike Victory Red Forged TW blade is a forged iron designed for precision, featuring a traditional muscle back design with a recognisable “TW” mark.  The centre of gravity of the Nike Victory Red Forged TW Blades is positioned to Tiger Woods’ own specifications and provides superior control and shot shaping. Made of 1025 Forged Carbon Steel with a CNC milled face, the Nike Victory Red Forged TW Blades differ from Nike’s original Blades with a modified muscle back and a slightly thicker toe.

Tiger himself says “I like the new Nike VR Blades because of the consistent feel throughout the bag, how good it looks in a playing position and my workability, I can shape the ball both ways, change my trajectory, do whatever I need to do to hit the ball closest to the hole and be as efficient as I can throughout the round.  That’s ultimately what you want to have happen. I hope to have these new irons in my bag upon my return to competition.”   Our own Paul Casey has already put these in the bag and told us that he’s already gained three yards in distance throughout the set. Masters champ Trevor Immelman has also switched over to the new blades and more players are expected to do the same.

These new irons are surely the best looking iron Nike have ever produced and definitely posses plenty of rack appeal. We look forward to testing them and bringing you our video verdict!
