The Today’s Golfer Fantasy League exploded into action with the South African Open.
The European Tour event was the warm-up event for the Winter Fantasy League. Andy Shaw showed how it’s done with a whopping 87-point total to head the leaderboard.
His team consisted of:
Anders Hansen (tied 3rd and 22 points)
Edoardo Molinari (tied 4th and 20 points)
Darren Fichardt (tied 6th and 17 points)
Soren Hansen (tied 8th and 15 points)
Louis Oosthuizen (tied 15th and 8 points)
Richard Sterne (tied 18th and 5 points)
Andy has shown his stuff in the practice event but he needs to do the business when the Fantasy League kicks off properly on January 7 with the SBS Championship in Kapalua.
The winner was Richie Ramsay, but Shaw managed to top the 5,000-plus managers without picking the tournament winner!
