Gareth Maybin signs with Stuburt

Northern Ireland’s Gareth Maybin has signalled the end of a successful debut season on the European Tour in 2009 by signing a deal to become Stuburt’s first golf clothing ambassador.

Maybin is currently ranked 55th on the European Tour and has already enjoyed five top ten finishes as well as second place finish at the South African Open in his first full year on tour.

Now Stuburt have chosen him as their figurehead for 2010 as they launch their golf apparel section to complement their successful shoe and waterproof brands.

Ryder Cup players David Howell and Darren Clarke already wear the brand’s footwear and rain gear but Maybin will be the first to wear the new apparel.

Stuburt will reveal the new apparel line-up for 2010 at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando in January.
