Cleveland announce two new putters

Cleveland have released details of two new putters – the Cleveland VP109 blade and VP509 mallet models.

The new models boast a new and improved visual alignment warning aid and have taken their Dual Axis Alignment technology to the next level.

Dual Axis Alignment allows golfers to determine when their hands move out of position and to detect when their eyes are not directly over the ball – the two mistakes that Cleveland believe most missed putts stem from.

Both putters offer a 30% larger textured elastometer face insert for soft and responsive feel and and are made of a low density material, which is seven times less dense than steel.

All models will be available in standard, flat and upright lie configurations and will begin shipping on February 15 2009.
