Srixon has revealed its new golf ball to the world this week in the form of the Srixon Z-Star golf ball.
The new Srixon Z Star and Z Star X will top the company’s growing golf ball range and their top Tour stars, including Vijay Sigh and Jim Furyk, will be teeing it up throughout 2009.
So what makes it better than anything they’ve ever produced before? According to Srixon insiders The Z-STAR and Z-STAR X now features a massive core and softer outer cover to improve both distance off the tee and explosive spin.
Everything about the ball’s dimple pattern is new too. A total of 324 large and shallow dimples help the designers achieve lower wind resistance to improve the overall distance of the ball.
And feedback from those pros we mentioned earlier has been pretty darn good too, which will no doubt help srixon and the srixon Z Star to further strengthen the company’s position as one of the top golf ball manufacturers in the UK.
The Srixon Z-STAR ball line will be available from all leading Golf shops and retailers from late February 2009 and will have an RRP of £44 per dozen.
