Powakaddy have traditionally been the golf trolley to beat and so the new Powakaddy Freeway II golf trolley is going to attract a lot of attention in the coming months.
The all-new Powakaddy Freeway II golf trolley from Powakaddy features a cool, small lithium battery, LCD display with a distance measuring facility and super quiet motor, as well as a host of other features.
And while we can go on an on about the sleek new design and ergonomic handle design it is the Distance Measuring Facility that can measure both how far the ball has been hit and the distance travelled during the entire round in meters or yards, allows golfers to set the trolley to proceed forward for a predetermined distance before stopping (10, 20 or 30 metres/yards) that will get everyone talking.
The screen also shows you the 9 different power settings, actual travelling speed, time and battery power from the tiny new battery, which is a full 75% lighter than a traditional acid battery.
As you would expect from a PowaKaddy, the Powakaddy Freeway II is both durable and easy to fold thanks to the compact 3 way folding frame and tough yet ultra lightweight aluminium chassis. Other useful features include the quick release front wheel allowing for on-course adjustment and straight line performance; and the universal bag stay and soft grip pads to accommodate all bag types and reduce bag twist.
A two year warranty will be offered with all Powakaddy Freeway II golf trolleys and the 18 hole lead acid battery version will sell for, while the Lithium battery model will go for around £649 from April, when they go on sale.
