Cleveland CG7 Tour Irons Review Video

Cleveland Golf is changing the face of better player irons with its new range of CG7 Tour irons.

Traditionally better player irons have been thin slithers of forged steel shaped for ultimate workability and control, with perhaps a slight cavity cut out of the back for some added forgiveness.

But Cleveland’s CG7 Tour irons are jam-packed with technology, including a micro cavity back and a unique one piece injection-molded visco-elastic insert that covers the entire perimeter of the cavity and the base of the head.

Designed to provide vibration dampening this will interest anyone who has thinned a blade iron on a cold morning sending painful vibrations up the shaft and into the fingers.

Despite the technology, the compact head and thin top line is still designed to appeal to the better player and offer workability and control.

So does it all do what it says on the tin? TG’s Jon Greathead and David Connor have tested it for you and will reveal all in the video below…
