It was never going to be easy for Wilson to follow up and improve on its impressive Di7 irons but the new Di9 Distance irons promise to do just that.
Wilson say the Di9 range is longer, straighter and more forgiving than its predecessor as well as being more fun to play.
It features a low-profile wide sole for a lower centre of gravity as well as a large cavity with vibration dampening insert.
The cavity is set out towards the toe because Wilson say 85 per cent of shots are hit from the centre out to the toe.
