Cleveland and Srixon launch new Centre of Excellence

The latest addition to golf’s centre of excellence family has opened in Maidenhead, with Srixon and Cleveland putting themselves well and truly on the map in the south of England.
The centre, conveniently located just off the M25 and within 20 minutes of Heathrow airport, is situated at Maidenhead Golf Centre and offers a full range of hardware from both manufacturers and it’s also the only centre in the country to feature an all purpose Huxley Golf green which is designed to play a crucial part when fitting golfers with wedges from both brands, as backspin can be gauged.
TG Equipment Editor Jon Greathead and his Golf World counterpart Richard Green went down for a closer look and both were impressed by the facility and the service after meeting with Centre of Excellence Manager, Dean Cracknell.
“The Centre of Excellence is a purpose built facility offering technology-driven custom-fitting for the player seeking to advance their game. Each fitting session is unique and tailored to the individual’s requirements, so that we can give every player the opportunity to fulfil their full potential,” explained Dean.
