Video review: Yonex V-MX fairway wood

The Yonex V-MX fairway wood rocked the range recently in Today’s Golfer’s fairway wood tests and upset some of the more regular names in the top test places.

The club was lauded by all testers for its forgiveness and ease of use and it would have won had the testers not been put off initially by the bulbous look of the club head at address.

To see if the Yonex’s superlative performance in that test was a one-off David Connor, TG’s equipment editor, and features writer Kit Alexander took it out onto the range at Elton Furze Golf Club in Cambridgeshire for a closer look.
