There’s no doubting that Ping’s G15 hybrid is a strange-looking beast – but it has been designed like this for a reason and that is to make the game easier to play.
Some golfers may have been put off initially by the aesthetics of the club but it could be that they are missing a trick because former US Masters winner Angel Cabrera has been known to use the club.
It is designed with more weight out towards the toe for more forgiveness where amateur players regularly strike the ball.
