First-hit video: Nike VR Pro Combo irons

Last week we brought you a video of Nike’s Tour pros testing the new VR Pro Combo irons – but this week we’ve got a couple of players who are more your level.

Nike pros such as Tiger Woods, Stewart Cink and Anthony Kim waxed lyrical about the VR Combos but they are paid to do so and, almost always, hit the ball out the sweet spot of the club anyway.

But how would they fare in the hands of TG’s equipment team Jonathan Greathead and David Connor? The duo headed to Oundle GC in Northamptonshire to find out and you can see how they got on in the video below.
