Wilson Staff are well known for their heritage in Tour-quality irons – in fact they’ve been used by professionals to win more Majors than any other brand in history.
But nowadays they put just as much effort into designing clubs that even the most inconsistent of golfers can use to good effect – such as the Di11 irons.
These irons are designed with game-improvers in mind and Wilson say they are the longest irons of any they’ve ever produced.
Wilson engineers have moved the weight lower and further away from the face compared with the previous Di9’s to promote a high ball flight as well as improved stability and accuracy.
Wilson also say the Di11’s boast the largest sweetspot of any of their irons, and that it is 36 per cent larger than other game-improvement irons – a bold claim!
Lastly, a vibration dampening elastomer has been introduced to the head so when the ball is hit off-centre you don’t get those horrible knuckle-busting vibrations coming up the shaft.
The Di11 irons are available from 5-PW at £349 (steel) and £449 (graphite).
