Wilson Staff launch new Ci9 irons

Wilson Staff have released the latest addition to their impressive iron line-up – the new Ci9 irons.

The Ci9 irons are the newest club in the Ci franchise, and are designed to offer competent players more control on the course.

The Ci9 irons appeal to a wide variety of golfers thanks to a traditional midsize head with a “players club” design that boosts confidence at address. The new clubs also provide many of the visual characteristics expected by better golfers, such as a thinner top line and a moderately progressive offset.

“The new Ci9 irons are one of Wilson’s best performing irons ever, offering maximum playability for varying skill levels,” said Bob Thurman, global director of R&D for Wilson Golf. “Ci9 irons are a great choice for better players looking for classic design and workability, as well as improving players looking for more stability and control.”

The irons are made from soft 431 stainless steel and include a one-piece Soft Response Insert that extends across the entire iron cavity to create more feel and a solid sound at impact – even on off-centre hits.

A hidden rear cavity Exoskeleton also improves weight distribution by dispersing mass to the heel and toe for a higher MOI (moment of inertia) and more stability. This distribution of weight also maintains the centre of gravity directly behind the iron’s sweet spot for solid feel and power.

The clubs are available from 4-PW with an RRP of £379.99 for steel and £449.99 for graphite shafts.
