Galvin Green unveil 2010 collection

Published:

Leading waterproof and golf fashion company Galvin Green have just unveiled their brand new collection for 2010 – just days after being named No1 in both waterproof and fashion categories in the Today’s Golfer Awards for 2009.

The new range – called The Cool Collection – is Galvin Green’s largest to date with more than 100 pieces, including 70 brand-new garments for 2010, in a variety of hi-tech warming, cooling or drying materials.

At the heart of the new range is a revolutionary material called Ventil8 that offers golfers a solution to the problem of sweaty, clingy shirts in hot weather. Exclusive to Galvin Green, Ventil8 provides unparalleled breathability and guaranteed anti-bacterial properties.

The ground-breaking fabric has been used in five new ergonomically-designed men’s golf shirts – Milos, Miller, Maddox, Marc and Mitch – and one ladies’ shirt, Mae.

“All the fabrics in our new collection are perfectly suited to golf clothing and feature some exceptional technology,” said Mats Lundqvist, Galvin’s Chief Designer. “We are particularly excited about Ventil8 as it outperforms all other golf shirt materials and we are confident it will make a big impression on anyone who wears it.”

The company is probably best known for their rainwear and the new collection includes a total of 13 men’s and 5 ladies’ GORE-TEX® jackets, including classic designs such as the Ashford, Akin, Atlas and Arn that continue into 2010 in new colours like scuba blue, gull grey and chilli red.

Five of these jackets incorporate the new stretch GORE-TEX® that expands in different directions during the swing for complete freedom of movement.

The Cool Collection will be available in leading golf outlets from January 2010.
