Video review: Cleveland Launcher DST fairway wood

Having to pick a ball up off a tight fairway lie with a 3-wood is not every golfer’s idea of the dream shot – but the new Cleveland Launcher DST fairway wood promises to make it easier.

With an oversize face design, thin crown and low and deep centre of gravity, the Launcher DST is designed to make it easier for even higher handicappers to get the ball in the air – even with a slower swing speed.

It’s an intriguing promise so TG equipment editor David Connor was joined by features writer Kit Alexander, who has a bit of a fairway-wood phobia, to test it out. You can see how they got on in the video below.
