Following on from the success of the S57s, Ping have launched their latest better-player irons for 2010, the S56.
We will have more information in a forthcoming edition of TG, but we can tell you that the irons benefit from tungsten toe-weighting which provides a higher MOI to offer more forgiveness.
But while there is an element of forgiveness in the new S56 irons, better players will be pleased to know that the centre of gravity in the short irons is positioned slightly higher which means the scoring clubs are more workable.
The irons will retail at £100 per club in steel and £120 per club in graphite. They should be available to buy from September. For more details on any Ping products, please visit www.ping.com
