Ping unleash K15 iron/hybrid set!

Alongside the launch of the new K15 woods range, Ping have introduced the new K15 iron/hybrid set which is ideal for the game-improver out there.

The hybrids, which replace the traditionally-harder-to-hit three, four and 5-iron, use technology from the award-winning G15 hybrid and have been engineered to help golfers get the ball airborne more consistently.

The centre of gravity is positioned further from the shaft axis, which creates more dynamic loft at impact. And for those of you who love their hybrids, it’s worth knowing that the K15 set can also be purchased with a 6-iron hybrid replacement.

As for the irons themselves, they feature a super-light titanium face which allowed Ping engineers to move more weight to the perimeter of the clubhead. This increases the MOI to give lots of forgiveness on off-centre hits.

TG’s Head of Publishing Richard Browne is a 25-handicapper so these clubs should be ideal for him – check out how he got on with them in the next issue of TG, on sale on August 13.

INFORMATION: The new K15 iron/hybrid set will retail ay £105 per club in steel and £120 per club in graphite.
