Lee Westwood’s winning clubs at St Jude Classic

Ping ambassador Lee Westwood has been the bridesmaid on more than one occasion after a terrific final round from a competitor so no-one can begrudge him a victory thanks to a final-hole blow up at the St Jude Classic.

Westwood was three shots behind Robert Garrigus as the American stood on the tee for the 72nd hole. But a triple-bogey from Garrigus gave both Westwood and Swede Robert Karlsson a chance of victory in the playoff.

Westwood was the man to hold his nerve and eventually sank a six-foot birdie putt for the win after four holes of the playoff.

The win was Westwood’s second on the PGA Tour and his first since 1998.

Here’s the clubs he did it with:

DRIVER: Ping G10, 9 degrees
FAIRWAY WOODS: Ping i15 3-wood, Ping V2 Rapture 5-wood
IRONS: Ping i10 (3-PW)
WEDGES: Ping Tour W wedges 54/14 degrees & 58/8 degrees
PUTTER: Ping Redwood Anser
