TaylorMade launch new Corza Ghost putter

One of the main problems facing golfers when it comes to putting is how to aim properly – and with this in mind, TaylorMade have launched the new Corza Ghost flatstick.

Rossa Tour Staff professional and putting instructor Dave Stockton has been heavily involved in the project which is all about making it easier to aim – and the first thing you notice about the putter is the colour; it’s bright white!

“Corza Ghost’s white putter head stands out so clearly against its background – the putting surface – because of the high contrast between white and green,” said Dr Steven Hitzeman from the Indiana School of Optometry, who was also consulted on the project.

“White creates the biggest difference in luminance, hence maximising contrast and promoting focus. Many golfers use the leading edge as part of their alignment strategy so this high contrast for the leading edge gives the golfer the best chance of squaring up the face at address,” he added.

The putter also features three black alignment lines on the crown and a circular hole in the back of the putterhead, which all help to make aiming easier and more effective.

We will be showing you much more of this putter in a forthcoming issue of TG, and we will also be speaking to the people behind it to give you the inside story from one of the true giants of golf equipment.

INFORMATION: The new wand will retail at £129 and should be available from the end of June.
