Titleist swoop for Manassero

After turning pro at last week’s Italian Open, home player Matteo Manassero has signed up with equipment giants Titleist.

The 17-year-old, who won the Silver Medal at last year’s Open Championship at Turnberry, joins Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler as part of the new breed of Titleist ambassadors.

Manassero will be using the Titleist 909D3 driver, the 909F2 fairway wood, a 909H hybrid and Titleist AP2 irons.

He will also be using Vokey Design wedges, a Scotty Cameron Tour Newport Select putter and Titleist’s Pro V1x golf balls.
