Video review: Nike Method 003 putter

It’s been a brilliant couple of years for Nike in terms of new equipment and Tour wins and no club has contributed more to this than the Nike Method putter.
Since launching as a prototype last year it has already recorded two Major Championship victories and a host of Tour wins in the hands of Nike athletes, as well as finding its way into the bag of Tiger Woods during the Open Championship.
Lucas Glover, Stewart Cink and Paul Casey are all Nike Method converts thanks to the combination of milled steel face and polymetal groove technology.
But will it also win favour with amateur golfers across the UK? The Method has already grabbed a best on test award in Today’s Golfer’s putters test in 2010 with the 003 model (there are five models in the range) so the signs are good.
And to test it out further TG’s gear team Jonathan Greathead and David Connor took it out on the greens to see how it performed in their hands.
