Mizuno JPX800 driver: gear video

When Mizuno’s R&D team set about designing the new JPX800 driver they also set about changing the way we think about forgiveness in a driver.

Traditionally when we think about forgiveness we think about whether the head will twist if we hit it out of the heel or the toe – thanks to something called horizontal MOI (moment of inertia).

Now Mizuno say they have created a driver with vertical MOI to help mishits when the occur high or low on the face. Intrigued?
