There’s no more beautiful sight in golf than a perfectly crafted bladed iron and TaylorMade have sought to create exactly that with the new TPMB iron.
It has been designed to suit the eye of the elite player with a thin topline, thin sole and short blade length and TaylorMade ambassador Nick Faldo was pivotal in the design of the irons.
TaylorMade believe this will be a real breakthrough for them in the forged iron market and they have already been performing well on Tour in the hands of staff players such as Justin Rose and Dustin Johnson.
They are created using a six-step forging process which TaylorMade say creates a more precise finish. As you would expect from TaylorMade there is also a good technical story involved and in the video below TG’s gear team Jonathan Greathead and David Connor run you through that story.
