Johnson scores another victory for R11 driver

Dustin Johnson got off to the perfect start in this year’s FedEx Cup play-off series with victory at The Barclays in New Jersey.

As you’d expect, the TaylorMade staff star was using some of the latest equipment, including the sensational R11 driver that has proven to be hugely successful with the world’s best players as well as amateur golfers all over the world.

Johnson carded a final-round 65 for a two-shot win over Matt Kuchar, as the event was shortened to 54 holes in the wake of Hurricane Irene.

The title was Johnson’s fifth on the PGA Tour and the latest victory propelled him to number four in the world rankings.

As well as the R11, the 27-year-old American also had two R9 fairway woods in the bag, as well as the Tour Preferred Forged MB irons.

He trusted the feel and versatility of the TP wedges around the green, as well as the world’s five-piece golf ball, the Penta TP.
