Steely-eyed Fisher delivers first Tour win with new Nike 20XI ball

Nike staffer Oliver Fisher kept his composure to finish the job and win his maiden European Tour title after a thrilling final round at the Czech Open.

The 22-year-old, who had endured a poor start to the season, used his arsenal of Nike Golf equipment to brilliant effect as he saw off the challenge of Mikael Lundberg. It was also the first win for any Nike player using the new 20XI golf ball.

Fisher was in exceptional form with his Method putter, as he holed crucial putts on the 16th and 17th on the final day to put him clear of the field.

The former Walker Cup player, who was actually the youngest golfer ever to play in the history of that event, also used Nike’s new VR Pro Ltd driver, which will officially go on sale this November.

He also used Nike’s VR Pro Combo irons, as well as three VR Pro wedges, a VR Prototype fairway wood and a VR Pro hybrid.
