Titleist-powered Simpson wins maiden Tour title

Titleist brand ambassador Webb Simpson fired a final round 67 to win his first PGA Tour title at the Wyndham Championship.

Simpson, who was using the Pro V1x ball in North Carolina, shot all four rounds in the 60s to post a final total of 18-under-par, three shots clear of George McNeill.

The American used Titleist’s 909D3 driver, 909F fairway woods, a 910H hybrid and the Vokey TVD wedges.

Simpson’s victory propelled him to third spot in the FedEx Cup standings, just behind fellow Titleist syaffers Nick Watney and Steve Stricker.
