FootJoy launch improved Boa fitting innovation

FootJoy’s BOA L4 Closure system has been around for a while now, but the manufacturer has updated it for 2012 and more shoes will now offer the feature.
The Dial mechanism on the heel of the shoe is connected to the BOA lace system to ensure golfers get exceptional fit and comfort.
The updated system is now even more precise than before, with one click on the dial equating to roughly 1mm of lace pull. The lace has also been upgraded and is now stronger for added durability.
The BOA L4 system will be available in the Contour Series, but FootJoy have now rolled the technology out to the ICON and Sport models, giving golfers greater choice.
“The improvements to the Closure System are truly impressive and have been instrumental in our decision to roll it out across more styles than ever before,” said Russell Lawes, European Marketing Manager for the brand.
The ICON, Sport and Contour Series will be available and in-store from January 2012.
