FootJoy dominate the UK golf shoe sales market

FootJoy have once again recorded strong sales figures in the UK golf shoe market, outselling its nearest competitor by almost four times.

The brand accounted for 56.3 per cent of all golf shoes sold in the UK in 2010 according to the most recent Golf Datatech UK retail audit.

The audit also revealed that the top four selling golf shoe models in the UK were all FootJoy models with the nation’s favourite being the FJ AQL, accounting for 15.2 per cent of all shoes sold.

Mike Lucas, director of sales and marketing for FootJoy, said: “Every FJ shoe meets a need in the market place and contributes to the high demand for our products across the board. From the top of the range FJ ICON and DryJoys Tour through to the contemporary FJ SPORT and best selling AQL.”
