Cobra S3 Max irons: video review

Published:

Cobra’s new S3 Max iron has been designed with the high handicap golfer firmly in mind.

The S3 Max iron is the biggest and most forgiving Cobra iron in the range for 2011 and offers plenty of help for inconsistent golfers in the way of offset, wide sole and large cavity-back.

The set can also be complemented with hybrids to replace long irons for golfers who find these traditionally hard-to-hit clubs a tad on the daunting side.

To see just how forgiving the Cobra S3 Max irons are TG’s equipment team Jonathan Greathead and David Connor took them to Oundle GC to give you a first impression.

A full review will take place in our comprehensive 2011 irons test later this year so make sure to pick up a copy of Today’s Golfer magazine to see how they compare.
