McDowell confirms his clubs for 2011

New Cleveland and Srixon staff player Graeme McDowell has confirmed the clubs he will be using in 2011.

The Northern Irishman, affectionately known as G-Mac, signed a deal to endorse Cleveland and Srixon this year after leaving Callaway following his most successful season on Tour.

The deal sees him play Srixon irons and ball and Cleveland wedges but speculation had been rife about his driver, fairway wood, hybrid and putter because he is free to use any of his choosing.

Now, McDowell has confirmed he will use the Srixon Z-TX2 irons, Cleveland 588 wedges and the brand new Srixon Z-Star XV ball. He will also stick with the Callaway FT Tour driver, Adams hybrids and the Odyssey White Hot #7 putter that served him so well last year.

The only new club in his bagwithout endorsement is the new Cleveland Launcher FL 3-wood.

On his Twitter account he posted: “New Srixon gear is feeling great guys. Thanks for asking. In the bag are Srixon ZTX2 irons and Cleveland 588 wedges 47 51 and 58 lofts.

“Also 13 degree Cleveland Launcher fairway wood and of course the Srixon Z Star golf ball. Feeling great and looking forward to the week.

“No change on Callaway FT Tour driver, Odyssey #7 putter and Adams hybrids. Still got the old faithfuls in the bag. Bag set up looks great.”
