New FootJoy Spidr2 golf glove released

FootJoy have unveiled their latest golf glove, the Spidr2, aimed at players who want all-round performance on the golf course.

The brand, which boasts the No1 spot on the European Tour, say the Spidr2 glove delivers superior grip for optimum control, especially at high swing speeds.

It also claims to cater for players of all skill levels, while optimising grip performance for nearly every playing condition.

The palm and fingers of the glove feature digital water resistant DTR Digital Tac Response leather for grip and control in different weather conditions.

The back of the hand and along the fingers sees FootJoy’s FiberSof material introduced to offer a leather-like feel, while maintaining comfort and consistent fit.

The base area of the thumb and back of the hand has an integrated PowerNet mesh which improves flexibility, breathability and provides a more consistent thumb fit. Finally the Power-Locking Closure allows the tab to lock into place for a nice firm fit.

Maria Bonzagni, senior director of golf glove marketing at FootJoy, said: “The new Spidr2 has been designed and developed for players looking for maximum grip and control with a progressive new look in a golf glove.

“The integration of Spidr2’s proprietary innovative materials provide a powerful grip advantage for nearly every playing condition.”

The FootJoy Spidr2 is available from February 1st, 2011. RRP £12
