Srixon launch new Z-Star range

Following on from the success of the sensational Z-Star and Z-Star X balls, Srixon have unveiled their new and improved models at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando.

The new Z-Star is a three-piece ball that features a super-soft urethane cover which has been designed to deliver exceptional spin, even from the rough, but without sacrificing distance. In fact, the new Z-Star is longer than the previous model.

It features a large core that, combined with the 324-dimple pattern produces a penetrating ball flight that all good players are looking for. This makes the Z-Star exceptional in the wind.

According to Srixon, the new Z-Star XV features a cover that is among the thinnest and softest on the market which means great distance and amazing feel.

It’s a four piece ball that offers a high trajectory but at the same time keeps spin rates down to ensure no less of distance. This feels slightly harder than the Z-Star but golfers can still expect a great level of feel and impressive amounts of spin off the scoring clubs.

In fact, Ryo Ishikawa was using this ball when he carded a world-record 58 at the Crowns Tournament in Japan last year.
