Benross Quad: 2011 irons test video review

Benross have been on the Today’s Golfer radar for a few years now because of their growing reputation for producing good quality clubs with very reasonable price tags.

Their latest iron offering is the Benross Quad irons, designed to be as forgiving as possible and to inspire confidence over the ball.

The design sees more weight placed in the extremities of the head for a higher MOI (resistance to twisting) as well as a large cavity in the rear of the club for a higher launch angle.

Overall, these are aimed at higher handicappers but in our comprehensive 2011 irons test we had different levels of golfers hitting these clubs to get better feedback. They were obviously impressed as the Quad irons came home with a bronze award.

Watch the video below with TG’s gear team Jonathan Greathead and David Connor for more information on how the Benross Quad irons performed in our test.
