TaylorMade Tour stars hit the bullseye ahead of Open Championship

TaylorMade’s top Tour players were on fine form ahead of this week’s Open Championship when they came together for an evening that combined golf and darts with some friendly banter.

Six teams of two players were challenged to hit various scores on a giant dart board from a distance of 50m, and the two sides with the highest scores went through to a play-off.

And it was Spaniard Sergio Garcia, along with playing partner Dan Walker, who took the spoils in what was an exciting event at Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club.

Garcia was joined by fellow TaylorMade stars Dustin Johnson, Martin Laird, Justin Rose, Peter Hanson and Retief Goosen at the event, with each player teaming up with a celebrity from the world of sport.

But it was the classy ball-striking abilities of both Garcia and Walker that saw off the challenge of play-off rivals Johnson and former Olympic sprinter John Regis.
