McGinley extends deal with TaylorMade-adidas

Irishman Paul McGinley has extended his deal with TaylorMade-adidas, and will now be wearing Ashworth apparel too.

McGinley has competed three times in the Ryder Cup, including 2002 when he holed the winning putt at The Belfry.

The current European Ryder Cup vice-captain said: “I have always thought that TaylorMade are innovators in the golf industry and the number one company in golf and I am now really excited to be wearing Ashworth apparel, which has such a rich history in the game of golf.”

McGinley is a four-time Tour winner, including the season-ending Volvo Masters in 2005.

Ian Watts, Director of Sports Marketing for TMaG in Europe, said: “Paul has established himself as one of the most committed individual and team players on the European Tour. We look forward to continuing our excellent relationship with Paul and to further success story.”
