New AP2 irons fire Hoey to Dunhill glory

Michael Hoey posted a four-round total of 22-under-par to win the Alfred Dunhill Links on Sunday, and the Northern Irishman had Titleist’s new 712 AP2 irons in the bag in Scotland.

Hoey held off the challenge of compatriot and fellow Titleist brand ambassador Rory McIlroy at The Home of Golf and used a plethora of other Titleist gear in the process.

In addition to the new AP2 irons, Hoey was using Titleist’s 910 D3 driver, 910F fairway wood and the Vokey Design Spin Milled wedges. He was also using Titleist’s Pro V1x golf ball.

We’ve got the full story on Titleist’s new 712 AP2 irons in the next issue of TG, which goes on sale on Thursday, October 6.
